Acrylic & Plastic Cut to Size
Acrylic, polycarbonate and engineering plastics cut, drilled and polished to your exact dimensions, ready to install.
Fourteen years of cutting timber, plastics and metal into finished parts — designed, machined, printed and assembled under one roof in Melbourne’s west.
CAD · CAM · Professional drawings · Router · Laser · Plasma cutting
Looking for a job that will not take four weeks and will not cost you an arm and a leg, with nothing given away on quality? You have landed in the right place.
We have been building projects out of timber, plastics and metals for more than fourteen years, so we know exactly where the hold-ups appear when an idea has to become a physical part. Over that time we have shaped a production method that stays cost effective from the first drawing through to the last assembly, and that finishes in record time.
Figtek Fabrication specialises in manufacturing an unusually broad spread of products — point of sale displays, plastic and machine guards, large tanks and engineered components are only part of the list. Quality materials go into every stage, and we are glad to advise on the substrate that suits the purpose best.
Australian owned and operated. Experience gained across large commercial catering, the materials handling industry and everyday domestic products.
Every process below runs in our own workshop, so a single job can move from drawing to cut to printed and assembled without leaving the building.
Acrylic, polycarbonate and engineering plastics cut, drilled and polished to your exact dimensions, ready to install.
Production drawings and toolpath programming prepared in house by our own designer and programmer, at no extra charge.
Artwork printed straight onto the finished component, plus print and cut vinyl when an applied graphic is the better option.
Clean, accurate laser profiling of stainless sheet for machine components, brackets and decorative panels.
Plasma profiling of mild steel, aluminium and heavier plate for structural, industrial and one-off fabrication work.
Computer controlled routing of timber, composite panel, plastics and non-ferrous metal, repeatable across a full run.
Point of sale displays, illuminated signage, machine components and custom one-offs — a sample of what has left the workshop lately.
Six processes, all under our own roof. Nothing is sent out to a third party, which is how the turnaround stays short and the price stays honest.
Most work is measured in days, not weeks, and we confirm a finish date before a single cut is made.
What is quoted is what is invoiced. No surprise line items appear once the job is under way.
A professional graphic designer and a machine programmer come with the job, free of charge.
Designing, cutting, assembling and printing all take place in the one workshop, so nothing waits on a third party.

We work daily in acrylic and engineering plastics, timber and composite panel, stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel. If you are unsure which substrate suits the job, tell us how the part will be used and we will recommend one.
Most work leaves the floor in days rather than weeks, and straightforward prototypes are often finished within the same week. Timing depends on the complexity of the part and material availability, and we confirm a date before starting.
No. Professional graphic design and CAD/CAM machine programming are included with your fabrication job at no extra cost, so there are no hidden line items on the quote.
Yes. We handle single prototypes right through to repeat production runs, and the same process is used either way so your first piece matches the hundredth.
It can. We print directly onto the finished component and also produce print and cut vinyl when a decal or applied graphic is the better option.
Our workshop is in Truganina, Victoria and visits are by appointment. Finished work is dispatched anywhere in Australia, and fulfilment options are available if you would like us to ship on your behalf.
Send it through and we will come back to you with a price and a realistic finish date. One piece or one thousand, the process is the same.
We would love to hear from you. Send the details through and we will get straight back to you.
